AVOID THE BAD
  • No Aluminum - Aluminum is a dangerous chemical used as an anti-sweat ingredient in other deodorants.  Any Exposure to aluminum causes oxidative stress to the brain, liver, kidneys, and other organs. Aluminum exposure also disrupts several enzymes causing changes in protein synthesis, nucleic acid function, and cell membrane permeability (protection).
  • No Glycols - Propylene Glycol (PG) is a toxic chemical used as a filler ingredient in other deodorants. PG is proven to cause organ toxicity, especially when used for prolonged periods (daily). Reported adverse effects from PG include central nervous system toxicity, hyperosmolarity (a blood imbalance that draws water out of the brain and other organs), hemolysis (the destruction of red blood cells), cardiac arrhythmia, seizures, and more.
  • No Parabens - These are poisonous skin-irritating chemicals used as toxic fillers in other deodorants. Scientific studies show parabens can disrupt the hormones in the body, decrease fertility, and damage the reproductive organs. These toxins can affect birth outcomes and increase the risk of cancer. 
  • No Phthalates - Phthalates are toxic filler ingredients used in most other deodorants. In the past few years, researchers have linked phthalates to asthma, attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder, breast cancer, obesity, type II diabetes, low IQ, neuro-developmental issues, behavioral issues, autism spectrum disorders, altered reproductive development, and male fertility issues. So avoid other deodorants because parabens, like all the other bad ingredients discussed here, is a primary toxic-filler ingredient.  
  • No Triclosan - This is a FDA classified pesticide that is used as an antibacterial ingredient in most other deodorants. Recent studies conclude Triclosan interferes with the body’s thyroid hormone metabolism and may be an endocrine disruptor. Children exposed to this toxic antibacterial compound have an increased chance of developing allergies, asthma, and eczema.

My Mom tested pHresh Lemongrass Spa Deodorant and has been on pins and needles waiting for it to launch. As long as I can remember she has been highly allergic to every antiperspirant and deodorant on the market but NOT pHresh Lemongrass! She's thrilled with this deodorant!

FRESH DURING MENOPAUSE!
OMGoodness the new pHresh Deodorant Lemongrass! I am going through menopause and sweating profusely, I know gross. Normal deodorants I reapply several times a day. I used this and have not had to reapply all day and night! I still smell as fresh as I did after my shower. Best smelling deodorant too! I love it! Thank you Essante Organics!

Organic coconut oil
